What is the minimum order quantity for ice cream OEM?

Accepted Answer

Standard minimum is one 20 ft container, roughly 5,000 pieces per SKU, and you can mix several SKUs in one container. Novelty shapes with new moulds and premium gelato lines have slightly higher minimums because of tooling and higher ingredient cost. Trial quantities below a container can sometimes be arranged — ask us.

Can you develop a completely new flavour or shape for us?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that is the core of our ODM service. Send a reference sample, photo or written brief: our applications kitchen formulates the flavour, and for shapes we produce tooling drawings before quoting mould cost and lead time. New mould development typically takes 15 – 20 days, and the mould library can shorten some launches to about 5 days.

How long does a first order take from approval to shipment?

Accepted Answer

After sample approval and artwork sign-off, plan on 25 – 35 days for production plus shipping time for your destination. Samples themselves usually take 7 – 10 days to produce and a few days to arrive by courier. Reorders that reuse the approved recipe and packaging move faster.

Do you support private label and brand ownership?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We produce under your brand, keep your recipe confidential, and can arrange for tooling to be owned by you. We can also adapt our layout templates if you do not yet have artwork — packaging design support and market labelling checks are part of the service.

Question 5

Which certifications do your products carry?

Accepted Answer

We work with facilities holding HACCP, ISO 22000 and BRCGS, and we arrange HALAL certification and FDA registration where your market requires it. Certificates for the specific plant assigned to your order are shared before production begins.

Question 6

How is the ice cream shipped and kept frozen?

Accepted Answer

Product is blast frozen and stuffed into reefer containers set at −18 °C, with digital temperature logging per container and documented blast-freezing records. We quote FOB, CIF, CFR or DDP and coordinate with your forwarder for port-to-door delivery.

Can you supply no added sugar, vegan or dairy-free options?

Yes, and demand is growing quickly. We formulate with stevia and erythritol systems, coconut or oat bases and high fruit content, and we align the nutritional claims and labelling with your market's rules so the front-of-pack statement is defensible.

How do you price an ice cream OEM order?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on recipe cost, format, packaging specification, order quantity, destination market and shipping terms. Once the recipe and packaging are fixed we issue a firm FOB or CIF quotation with a validity period, and we can quote several volume tiers so you can plan a first order and a reorder.
